Esette

We were supposed to chill at SPRMRKT but sadly it was closed for an event. So we decided to just walk along the streets and that was when we chanced upon this cafe - Esette.

But before that, I met up with Stephanie first to walk around Chinatown (because I have never been there in my entire life).

So here are some pictures before we met up with the rest of the gang (4/6 of Le Bolas - our MRT gang).

Located at 47 Duxton Road, this cafe was rather small as compared to the other restaurants around that area. The walls were lined with posters made up of different Disney characters, and there was this wall right beside the entrance dedicated for the baddies. We were not charged for GST and Service but we were greeted and served by a really helpful and friendly guy!

This was the Chicken and Tomato Wrap (I really forgot what was the actual name for it) which Susana and Stephanie had - cheese, sundried tomatoes and chicken wrapped with soft tacos, served with salad and fries.

And this was the Ham and Spinach Quiche (how do you actually pronounce it) - an open-faced pastry crust filled with savoury custard, cheese, gourmet ham and baby spinach, that Elizabeth and I had, served with salad and fries as well.

It was a pity that we did not have space in our stomach for desserts - the pastries looked really delicious there! I was already struggling with the last few strands of my fries (sigh). It's really worth a second try!
Cheers!

Fresh Tangerine

Recceived a set of 3 stacking rings in gold fill from Fresh Tangerine about a month ago! I could see a lot of effort being put into the packaging to make their customers happy, and the rings were soooo pretty!

I chose the "Twisted" design because I thought it will look more presentable and visible on my rather chubby fingers. Located in Seattle, Fresh Tangerine provides convenient accessories that are delicate and feminine, easiest way to add more details to your daily outfit and make yourself a lil different!

Do check out their website at www.freshtangerine.com for more designs and accessories!

L'zzie

"L'zzie delivers a range of work wear that is greatly inspired by the romance of Parisian country side."

Their clothes varies from monochrome to pastel colours (more of pastel), but if you're the extremely feminine kind, this place has all your clothes! Do check our their website at www.lzzie.com for more designs and new collections!

I was really honoured to be invited by Qiuqiu to attend the opening of L'zzie's new outlet at Clarke Quay Central, whereby she'll choose the outfit that suits us and our hair and makeup will be taken care of. She even did our makeup for us personally! As I rarely put on makeup (usually I'll just do my eyes), that day was the first time that I actually put on heavy make up --- my skin looked flawless! I wonder what brand of foundation they used HAHAHA

So basically after we are done with dressing and touching up, there was a photo taking session, Q&A, and afterwards we get to munch on their delicious looking snacks and some champagne...I loved the peach tart the most! But all the cupcakes and tarts are specially designed to fit the theme of this event --- the sushi cupcake looked soooo real, we were all very amazed by it. Everyone who walked over to the the snacks corner took more photos than actually eating them =.="

Last but not least, we get to keep the outfit that we have been dressed up with... the sizes were a lil big (even though it was already S - the smallest size they have). Hahaha qiuqiu said she had a bit of problem dressing us up because No.1 we're the youngest few there and No.2 the sizes were a bittt big. Maybe L'zzie should come up with a Petite collection.

Well, I had fun and made new friends (and as a cheapo person, the thought of being able to keep the outfit was the most happy part), and I get to meet and take photos with bloggers! It was really a memorable experience!

Received 2 free tickets from my beloved neighbour and headed off to River Safari!
Surprisingly it was the official opening of River Safari and guess who we saw --- our Prime Minister. He's freaking tall I swear; we were eating at the Panda Bun House and there was this sudden mob of people outside. So out of curiousity, I asked ZK to go and kaypoh and... tada, he managed to catch some snapshots of Mr Lee. Wanted to take a selfie with him but yeah I realised I'm wayyyy too short so, nay.

River safari is rather small I would say, there weren't much animals --- different types of fishes and forest animals, yeap that's about it. Well, it sure lives up to the word 'River' because all the set ups were literally like living in a kampong beside a river. It's kinda cool though.

But my favourite area is of course none other than Jiajia and Kaikai's home, well not because they are pandas, but because it's air-conditioned. KIDDING. Of course the feeling of seeing pandas LIVE is like jsdfjldfvgkfjvmfjgndfjlvhl. Idk how to describe hahaha. But I like Jiajia most, because she was strolling around in pride and letting us take nice photos of her. Not like the Kaikai, sleeping so unglamly on the bamboo bed, you know the chinese phrase '四脚朝天' four limbs facing the sky, yea you get the picture.

And the best part of River Safari is none other than the boat ride --- it's quite exciting and fun. If you ever sit at the first row, be prepared to get SOAKED, but it's worth the experience haha. And do visit River Safari now before they start charging you for the boat ride!

Left at around 3.30pm and went to this railway track at Bukit Timah to take some photos. I swear the photos turned out to be really nice, but we had to walk quite a bit from the bus station to reach the railway track. If you wanna take nice photos and don't want to look like you're in Singapore, I will totally suggest this place for you.
So here are some photos:

Had a really wonderful and well-spent day with this boy and not forgetting a HUGE thank you for being willing to stand under the hot sun to take these photos with me and also, to squeeze into the mob of people to help me catch some photos of LHL, hahaha.

Let's continue to walk down the road with our hands in each other's.
