You Light Up My Life

Finally took some time off to meet le bestie and we headed off to i Light. This being my first time at i Light, I scrolled through the numerous photos on Instagram to keep a look out for the nicer exhibitions. To be honest, I was expecting quite a bit of exhibitions  there, unfortunately they were pretty far apart, and only a few were photo-worthy.

We were there before the sun set so there was nothing much; we took a stroll around the carnival area so check out the stalls and stuff. I was expecting the stalls to sell some cool lighted items but maybe because it wasn't dark yet nothing seems appealing.

The games and rides were quite pricey so we merely just took some photos and walked off.

Finally the sun was down and we slowly saw the "effect" of all the exhibitions HAHAHA. The most eye-catching one to me was the Aurora Northern Lights display (I can't remember the exact name of this exhibition). And Susana kept saying Ah-row-ra Ah-row-ra in the Hong Kong accent. HAHAHAHA.

Look how gorgeous this girl is.

I would say this is my favorite exhibition because these are LIGHTED ROSES and I loveeeee roses.
We took quite a lot of effort to enter the "sea" of roses; it was pouring heavily before that and despite the rain stopping when we arrived, the entire grass patch was muddy and soggy and gross. We became extremely cautious with every step we took. All I prayed was to not encounter any frogs or worms omg.

美美美

Got the Zouk feel or not HAHAHA.

At times like this I am quite proud of my Canon PowerShot N2 because the photos weren't blurry and because I can't afford an iPhone or DSLR. Does anyone want to donate to this peasant here? T_T

This exhibition is all made up of bottles and bottle caps accompanied with blue lights. I thought it was really good to showcase recycling being put to a good use... Maybe not in the long run because it takes up space HAHAHA. Despite the fact that there were many people, we managed to capture a few humanless shots wew.

Don't you think the night view of MBS is beautiful?

Overall, it was a pretty damp (muddy fields sobbles) but high quality time spent with le bestie. I guess if there were lesser people (though quite impossible) it would definitely be better...

Looking forward to more summer plans with le bestie!
