We were supposed to chill at SPRMRKT but sadly it was closed for an event.
So we decided to just walk along the streets and that was when we chanced upon this cafe - Esette.
But before that, I met up with Stephanie first to walk around Chinatown (because I have never been there in my entire life).
So here are some pictures before we met up with the rest of the gang (4/6 of Le Bolas - our MRT gang).
Located at 47 Duxton Road, this cafe was rather small as compared to the other restaurants around that area.
The walls were lined with posters made up of different Disney characters, and there was this wall right beside the entrance dedicated for the baddies. We were not charged for GST and Service but we were greeted and served by a really helpful and friendly guy!
This was the Chicken and Tomato Wrap (I really forgot what was the actual name for it) which Susana and Stephanie had - cheese, sundried tomatoes and chicken wrapped with soft tacos, served with salad and fries.
And this was the Ham and Spinach Quiche (how do you actually pronounce it) - an open-faced pastry crust filled with savoury custard, cheese, gourmet ham and baby spinach, that Elizabeth and I had, served with salad and fries as well.
It was a pity that we did not have space in our stomach for desserts - the pastries looked really delicious there! I was already struggling with the last few strands of my fries (sigh). It's really worth a second try!
